COVID-19 (Roadmap out of Lockdown) updated 25 February 2021

In these difficult times we still need to follow Government advice. Our cottages are still closed except for those housing frontline key workers.

However as part of the Government's new Roadmap out of Lockdown, under Step 2, which will be no earlier than 12 April, "Self-contained accommodation such as holiday lets, where indoor facilities are not shared with other households, can reopen".

As part of Step 3, which will be no earlier than 17 May, "Indoors, the Rule of 6 or 2 households will apply... Until this point, people should continue to keep their distance from anyone not in their household or support bubble".

Should Government advice change further we will update this page.

Until Step 2 comes into effect the 'stay at home' rule still applies until 29 March. Overnight stays are not currently permitted however there are exceptions as to why we can still accommodate certain bookings, such as those for keyworkers.

We are still open for business so do email or phone Trish or book online if that is available (only certain properties).

My office is at home so I am checking emails and answerphone messages regularly and will respond within 24 hours, usually quicker than that! So my personal service to existing and potential guests is offered as usual.
Just call Trish on 01502 478078 with any queries about your existing or future booking for a holiday in one of my cottages at or close to the coast.

Our standard terms and conditions apply. Be confident with us - book now.

If your booking dates are prior to 12 April (for same household) or prior to 17 May (for two households), then your booking will be cancelled (bookings for key workers are exempt) and you have the following options:
i. Rebook your stay at the same property for later dates up to the end of 2022 (additional fees may incur if new dates are in a higher price band)
ii. Rebook your stay at another property for later dates up to the end of 2022 (additional fees may incur if an alternate property's rates are in a higher price band)
ii. Cancel your booking and receive a refund in full.

We are unable to advise on any possible restrictions which may apply for future bookings after either of these dates until such future guidelines are given by the Government.

In order to help minimise the spread of Covid-19, Suffolk Coastal Cottages kindly ask all guests to follow current Government guidelines. Your patience during these uncertain times is appreciated.

We hope you are keeping safe and well and we look forward to hearing from you about future stays at these charming properties.

Very best wishes
