Guest reviews

  • We shall remember our stay at Leman cottage as one of the good holidays! We have been blessed with marvellous weather, but even without it we should have enjoyed Suffolk (which we did not know before) immensely.  I particularly appreciate the sensitive restoration of the cottage and the information about history of this and the farmhouse.

Trish has thoughtfully provided everything we could possibly have needed.  Clyde, our Beardie, has revelled in beach walks (as have we) and we have loved the peaceful setting. Thank you Trish for your hospitality. R & A August 2019

Trish thank you so much for all of your help organizing everything.  We had an absolutely splendid weekend and Ailva felt very celebrated! We will come back soon to visit! M A S & K September 2019

Lovely relaxing break, wonderful cottage with all amenities to make a good time.  We will be back soon.  TS  July 2019

Very relaxing and refreshing week.. this is our fourth stay at this delightful cottage which we regard as a home from home.  So many highlights: Walks on Dunwich beach, mooching around Southwold concluded with a drink at the Lord Nelson.  Bear the Labrador had a really good time.  We will return.  I & J P June 2019

We have loved staying in your cosy cottage, you have made us so welcome and the dogs have had a ball! We will definetly do this again.  Very relaxing.  Thanks again.  R & JE May 2019

Our second visit and every bit as good as the first! Weather was excellent and the walks along several breaches were very bracing. Dunwich Coastguard cottages, Snape Maltins and the smoked fish on Aldeburgh beach were but some highlights of a great break.. we will be back..LLH October 2018

  • We echo the above comments, such a lovely part of the country, a walk along Dunwich Beach with the dog on a sunny day, followed by fish and chips and a pint of Adnams in the Ship..thanks as always to Trish for being such a welcoming host.. IJB October 2018
