WHAT TO SEE AND DO
in this part of rural Suffolk

These holiday homes are ideally situated for exploring the Suffolk Heritage Coast.

The famous seaside town of Southwold, and next-door Walberswick and Dunwich are a short drive away, and Aldeburgh, Orford and the internationally renowned Snape Maltings Concert Hall are less than half an hour’s drive.

RSPB Minsmere well known for its avocets, marsh harriers and bitterns is little more than 10 minutes' drive away from most of the cottages.

Wenhaston is known for its Church with its famous Doom painting, as well as for Wootens of Wenhaston plant nursery. Suffolk Wildlife Trust’s Church Farm reserve is on the doorstep at Thorington.

There are numerous walks and cycle rides from here, local pubs within easy reach and a handful of excellent restaurants, as well as high-quality farm shops and regular farmers markets to visit.

We are halfway between Norwich and Ipswich, about 40 minutes drive to each.

.. for peace and quiet, just stay in the garden and relax ..
