About The Old Post Office

The Old Post Office is a Grade II listed Georgian House in the heart of the attractive market town of Bungay. The building actually dates back to the1700’s and you can see orginal timbers from this time in the loft conversion. It was given its Georgian facelift at a later date. From 1850 the house was used as the town's Post Office. The main public area is now the dining room and, on the floorboards you can stll identify the tracks worn away by years of shuffling queues.

The house has good-sized rooms and can accommodate up to six people plus baby in three double bedrooms, two with ensuite facilities. A cot is available.
