cottage is close to Aldeburgh with its many interesting shops and galleries,
pubs and restaurants, cinema, beach and sailing club. Thorpeness is even
closer with its boating lake, windmill, golf and Country Club and the
beach. There are numerous footpaths and cycle tracks across beautiful
heathland from this cottage to these places and also to the small town
of Leiston with Suffolk’s oldest cinema, sports centre with swimming
